I'm somewhat surprised by the lack of posts in the blogosphere about ABC's Once Upon a Time. I haven't seen any other than the one on Hello, Dear Wind.
What's not to love about a show based on story book fairy tales?
The Good: The story is fantastic. This isn't too surprising since the writer's of Lost are behind it but still. It's pretty fun discovering each fairytale character and their role in Storybrooke.
The Bad / The Ugly: The CGI during the fairytale flashbacks is horrendous. That being said, it isn't nearly as bad as the CGI on PanAm. I think ABC needs to have a little talk with the guys who did the reboot of Battlestar Galactica.
The Best: The acting. It's shockingly great. You'd think Giancarlo Esposito would have his choice of roles after Breaking Bad and what does he pick - this show.
Overall: Catch up while you can!

I am hooked on this show. I mean it has Pam from True Blood in it....and it is just fantastic. I love the costumes too...So glad I'm not the only one!
I haven't see in it yet.. but will have to check it out. My hubs love the show breaking bad but I thought it needed more action :)
I've been wanting to watch this show but wanted to get some reviews first to see if it's any good- your post is the first review. I'll give it a go.
